In late March, my old friend Yang Xia came from Michigan for a week to check up on me. It was wonderful having him here. Each morning he shared in my vegetable blend, joined me on my local walk, and taught me TaiChi. He was also a great source of wisdom and advice regarding my treatment.
The picture shows an evening out with the research group where we farewelled a visiting German student, Natascha. Yang is next to me in the back row.
It was great to see Paul and Miang in Wellington, a wonderful place with lots of activities and ever changing weather.
