Today, my esteemed friends and colleagues, Andrew Coy, Robin Dykstra, Craig Eccles and Mark Hunter, joined me in Auckland to receive the Prime Minister's Science Prize. This is a huge honour, but best of all, the prize recognises the teamwork that has made our lab and created the company, Magritek.Why this five? It could have been for a hundred of our wonderful collaborators, past and present. But, consistent with the narrative of "science to business to positive impacts for New Zealand", we five are the scientist shareholders who started the company. The guy with the green tie is Prime Minister John Key.
