Visitors from Israel

This week Daniella Goldfarb and her husband Arnon, passed through Wellington as part of a multi-week tour of New Zealand. Daniella is a Professor at the Weizmann Institute and one of Israel's leading scientists, as well as being famous internationally for her work in Electron Paramagnetic Resonance. I was able to join them both for a delightful meal at a restaurant on the Wellington Waterfront. Foolishly, I was so engrossed in conversation that I forgot to get the waiter to take a photograph, so this picture of the two of them near Auckland, and supplied by Daniella through email, will have to suffice.

In 2014, Daniella takes over as President of ISMAR (International Society of Magnetic Resonance), the role that I had from 2008 to 2011.
